“What’s your favorite thing to cook?”

I’m all for simple food with big flavor. My recipes are low-maintenance. They’ve got minimal ingredients and hands-on cooking times. But I promise that they’ll make your friends and family say “wow.” That’s because they lean on smart techniques and potent building blocks like gochujang, tomato paste or Parmesan cheese. I love pulling out a trick like braised brisket or pork shoulder that’s got a crisp, caramelized top and meat so tender it practically melts in your mouth – and yet – the oven does most of the work (shh – no need to tell).
